Norse mythology, largely recorded in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Iceland\">Iceland<\/a>&nbsp;from traditional material stemming from Scandinavia, provides numerous tales featuring the god. In these sources, Thor bears at least&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_names_of_Thor\">fifteen names<\/a>, is the husband of the golden-haired goddess&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sif\">Sif<\/a>, is the lover of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J%C3%B6tunn\">j\u00f6tunn<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J%C3%A1rnsaxa\">J\u00e1rnsaxa<\/a>, and is generally described as fierce eyed,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Red_hair\">red haired<\/a>&nbsp;and red bearded.<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thor#cite_note-HAIR-COLOR-1\">[1]<\/a><\/sup>&nbsp;With&nbsp;Sif, Thor fathered the goddess (and possible&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Valkyrie\">valkyrie<\/a>)&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%9Er%C3%BA%C3%B0r\">\u00der\u00fa\u00f0r<\/a>; with&nbsp;J\u00e1rnsaxa, he fathered&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M%C3%B3%C3%B0i_and_Magni\">Magni<\/a>; with a mother whose name is not recorded, he fathered&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M%C3%B3%C3%B0i_and_Magni\">M\u00f3\u00f0i<\/a>, and he is the stepfather of the god&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ullr\">Ullr<\/a>. By way of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Odin\">Odin<\/a>, Thor has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sons_of_Odin\">numerous brothers<\/a>, including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Baldr\">Baldr<\/a>. Thor has two servants,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%9Ej%C3%A1lfi_and_R%C3%B6skva\">\u00dej\u00e1lfi&nbsp;and&nbsp;R\u00f6skva<\/a>, rides in a cart or chariot pulled by two goats,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tanngrisnir_and_Tanngnj%C3%B3str\">Tanngrisnir&nbsp;and&nbsp;Tanngnj\u00f3str<\/a>&nbsp;(that he eats and resurrects), and is ascribed three dwellings (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bilskirnir\">Bilskirnir<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%9Er%C3%BA%C3%B0heimr\">\u00der\u00fa\u00f0heimr<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%C3%9Er%C3%BA%C3%B0vangr\">\u00der\u00fa\u00f0vangr<\/a>). Thor wields the hammer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mj%C3%B6lnir\">Mj\u00f6lnir<\/a>, wears the belt&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Megingj%C3%B6r%C3%B0\">Megingj\u00f6r\u00f0<\/a>&nbsp;and the iron gloves&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J%C3%A1rngreipr\">J\u00e1rngreipr<\/a>, and owns the staff&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gr%C3%AD%C3%B0arv%C3%B6lr\">Gr\u00ed\u00f0arv\u00f6lr<\/a>.
